Managing Backup Payment Methods

What are the benefits of adding a backup payment method?
Adding a backup payment method offers several advantages:
Shop without worrying about your wallet balance
Complete purchases instantly even when your wallet doesn't cover the full amount
Avoid transaction failures at checkout
Still earn 3% rewards on the portion paid with your backup method
Skip the step of having to load cash in the middle of shopping
Why do I need a backup payment method?
A backup payment method makes your in-store purchases easier when your SNIPES Reserve wallet doesn't have enough funds. This gives you flexibility to use your wallet even when it doesn't cover the full purchase amount.

The first time you select "Activate Card" in the SNIPES Reserve Wallet section of the app, you'll be prompted to add a backup payment method (credit card, debit card, etc.). You can update or change your backup payment method at any time by going to the "Manage Card" section.

If your backup payment method is declined:

You'll need to update your payment method or provide a new one
Once updated, you can attempt your purchase again
